About our mascot
Pegamoose began as a mascot for the NMU student organization, Cosplayers Unite. When Superior Con first started in 2018, he quickly moved to become the mascot of the convention as well. Since then he has been regularly featured in convention artwork, advertising, and promotional material.
Here, have some fun facts about moose:

A full grown male moose can weigh up to 1,500 lbs, stand 7 feet tall at the shoulders, and have antlers spanning over 5 feet wide.

Moose are excellent swimmers, and are capable of diving underwater and closing their nostrils while grazing for water vegetation.

Don't try to outrun a moose, they can run at 35mph.

Moose can move each eye independently, kind of like a chameleon can!
