Guest: Kira Elric

Kira has been loving the craft of cosplay since 2005. For the past 14 years she has made over 50 costumes for herself and many more for other cosplayers through commission work! She currently competes at Master Level craftsmanship, having been sewing for the last 17 years. She’s currently won 5 awards for her work, 2 of which have been Best in Show.  She loves the challenge of making things and figuring out how to create them. She is a mostly self-taught seamstress. The magic of cosplay caught her eye at a young age and she dove in to it head first.  She is a heavy promoter of Cosplay Positivity, running cosplayer interviews on her Wordpress and running a cosplay community page for all cosplayers called “For the Love of Cosplay” on Facebook! She truly believes that cosplay is for everyone and her motto is “Love Life Love Cosplay”.
